With an undergraduate degree in finance and an MBA from the University of Georgia, John Speros began his commercial real estate career over 38 years ago. For the past 30 years, John has focused on land brokerage and has been involved in a number of Atlanta’s most notable real estate transactions including Edgewood Retail Restrict, Gwinnett Exchange and ALTA Brookhaven and Overton Park. John has been acknowledged 5 times as a Top Ten Land Broker by the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors. He has also been awarded the Alvin B. Cates Award twice for the most significant real estate transaction in Atlanta. John 2017, John has partnered with two other brokers and formed the Ackerman Pioneer Land Advisory Group that focus on representing land owners in the sale of their land assets at the maximum value.
Mr. Speros also has extensive development experience and has developed over $70 million of self storage facilities in Georgia and Florida. This real life development experience provides John a set of problem solving tools that brokers without development experience don’t have, allowing his team to have an extremely high closing ratio at maximum value.
